Kany M. Levine

I am the Founder of The Levine Law Firm, PLLC, and have practiced law for over 27 years.  I am licensed to practice in all local, state, and federal courts in Washington State, at both the trial court and appellate levels.  I have represented literally thousands of individuals charged with crimes ranging from aggravated murder to petty theft.

In addition to my criminal defense practice, I also maintain a practice in the areas of general civil litigation, personal injury, legal malpractice, public records violations, employment discrimination, and contract law.

I come from a family and background that recognizes and fights for the rights of individuals.  My uncle, Irving Kanarek, was a lawyer in Los Angeles who, among other infamous clients, represented Charles Manson at his trial in Los Angeles in 1970.  He instilled in me, from the very beginning, the lesson that the backbone of our system of justice depends on a lawyer who is willing to go to the mat for his client.  Indeed, it is often only the  aggressive, hard working lawyer that stands between the individual and the enormous power and resources of the State or large corporation.

Whether by aggressively defending you if you are charged with a crime, aggressively representing you if you've been injured, serving as your advocate if you are not getting answers from the government, have suffered at the hands of an unscrupulous or negligent lawyer, have had your civil rights violated, or need to appeal an adverse decision in any of these and other areas of the law, I will always fight hard for you, your interests, and your rights.
